One of the worst banks , if not the worst. Dysfunctional, outdated systems, customer service and most of the staff are extremely unprofessional, discourteous. I had a terrible experience while trying to obtain a bank reference. They were unreasonably rigid and refused to provide it as they didn’t have the FORMAT.

My experience with Banque Misr has been nothing short of a complete disaster. The level of service is shockingly poor, with endless delays, disorganized branches, and a noticeable lack of professionalism and accountability from staff. Basic transactions take far too long to complete, and every simple request turns into a frustrating and time-consuming ordeal. The customer service is unresponsive and often unhelpful, with employees showing little to no interest in resolving issues or assisting clients properly. There is no sense of efficiency, respect, or urgency. Reaching someone who can actually solve a problem feels impossible — phone support is practically useless, and in-branch service is chaotic and inconsiderate. Instead of treating customers with care, the bank acts as if clients are a burden. Frankly, this experience has completely destroyed my trust in this institution. The worst bank experience I’ve had in Egypt. Their ATM literally takes money without dispensing the cash — and it’s not just me, I know several people who faced the exact same issue. The staff are unhelpful and borderline rude, and the customer service is anything but professional. Instead of resolving issues, they just deflect or blame the system. It’s honestly unacceptable. A bank is supposed to offer security and trust — this one fails on both. They seriously need to train their employees and overhaul their entire customer service approach. I will never walk into one of their branches again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
