A reputable bank with highly polite and respectful staff.
Terrible customer service | would not recommend. The lady who was supposed to assist us was making personal judgments and never directly answered my questions; instead, she constantly made assumptions and responded based on her own thoughts. At one point, she questioned why, as a U.S. citizen with a job in the U.S., I would want to open an account with CIB, insisting that I must have both a job and residency in Egypt. I had to repeat myself multiple times to clarify whether she was seriously saying that an international bank won’t allow me to open an account simply because I’m an American citizen residing in the U.S.? Then, at the end of the conversation, I asked a simple question: “Where is the main branch located?” Instead of just answering, she launched into an explanation about how I wouldn’t be allowed into the management building where approvals happen, something I never asked about. (I asked because simply I did not want to come back to this branch due to the terrible custome
