I think this is general scenario of banking in Canada, with only 2 people on front desk and only one of them actually attending customers in lavsh big branches. Rest of the managers will sit inside cubicles and not attend to you unless you have a booked appointment. You should have option to select appointment time from 15 mins to 30 mins to ensure there are more slots available for customers. Not everyone wants to sit in a bank for 1 hour. This looks like a planned stratgey for either keeping employees light at work OR bringing less customers to their branches. BMO has very regressive policies whicc are introduced silently without information. They recently stopped PAD payments from external institutions like Wealthsimple. This was the last straw they pulled to break my relationship forever. I am closing my chequng and converting my premium cards to no fee cards. There is no logic of staying with them, no benefits. They arent able to step up to the competition and introducing poli
19 April update.... tried giving this new location one more try. Could they be worse in a whole new way? Why, yes, yes they can. No wait this time, but the teller's level of disinterest, bordering on hostile, was an exciting new low. Getting basic feedback on my query was like pulling teeth. No smiles, no greeting, no info on my request unless I asked leading questions, and even then the answers came with diffidence that made it hard to find them credible. The female teller, working at 2:45 pm ET was NOT cut out for customer service. I'm done with this branch. Whether I'm done with BMO all together... we'll see. This review is for 1291 Dupont, a new BoM location (not the Dupont & Symington branch to the west). No comment on the goofy setup of desk and chairs instead of tellers...big comment on the unfriendly and dismissive ambiance created by two female staff who could see me waiting for 10 minutes for service. One lone dude working the clients waiting in line. Wanted to start the pro
All the money these banks make you would think they would have staff. One bank teller is insane. Nobody wants to stand for long in a bank waiting. Thinking of switching banks as this is insane everytime we come here.
One of the best BMO branches in Toronto. Very helpful and friendly tellers at this older Bank of Montreal branch at Dupont and Symington. No line up at all! 😊 Clean and well organized branch. Excellent management and well chosen staff! ATMs work perfect. Convenient wheelchair accessible ramp for wheelchair users!!! 👍👍👍 Wheelchair accessible entrance and wheelchair accessible branch. Firstly, both the teller and the manager( I believe her name was Crystal) were shockingly rude and seemed to be annoyed with me because my request made them do their job. Secondly, they sent me away not with no direction to get my issue sorted. I went to a different branch 5 minutes down the road and got everything sorted within minutes. These people want to clock in and get paid to not do their job. Unfortunate. Do better.
