Service standards are far below expectations. Took an hour just to open a bank account while several staff were chatting and scrolling on their phones instead of assisting customers.

Went to this branch today at about 1.30pm and took me almost an hour to renew my FD. There were only 2 staff manning the counters on L2. My number was called about 30min later to go to finance consultant counter 12 but there was no staff at this counter. Then I was told I had to walk down to L1 for renewal to be done by staff at L1 and to walk up to L2 to cash out my interest. As an elderly customer I refused. So was sent to another counter ( finance consultant counter 11) to complete the renewal and to wait for my name to be called for my cash. Customers who came to the bank after me had been attended to and left. I approached the staff at counter 9 (as only counter 9 and 7 were manned by a teller ). She was very rude and told me to wait for my name to be called. I asked how much longer must I wait but she just answered loudly "wait for your name to be called". Can you imagine my embarrassment when other customers looked at me. After almost 10 minutes my name was called by staff at c

Really excellent experience at this branch for the last three visits in the last two months. Sherman Kwah was outstanding in providing service with patience and knowledge. Went above and beyond to be helpful. Other staff are also excellent. Wait time is not too long. Better service than DBS POSB. Highly recommend.

I came here to open islamic savings account, the staff was patient and helpful. In the middle of the process I needed to leave the bank for an urgent matter, and they waited for me even though I came back exactly at the time when they were supposed to close the bank. When I arrived back, my account and debit card was ready (i thought the process would take more than a week), and the staff explained to me nicely to complete the process and use the online banking app. I gave it a 4-star because initially it seemed to be a bit challenging for student pass holders, especially when your current address does not match with your student pass address. But thankfully, the process can still be continued, and my account can finally be opened on the same day (so relieved because I only had one day left to give details of my account to my institution).

A lot people but only 2 counters open to serve many many customers. Some other staffs are just sitting nearby chatting loudly. Don’t look good when customers are pissed off of the long waiting hours. They need to hire more staff at the counter or make use of live chat services. Certain service should be allow via phone call or live chat and don’t need come to the service counter… soooo inefficient.
