TD Canada Trust Branch and ATM 161 Bay Street Old Toronto

I arrived 15 minutes before close and patiently waited in line to deposit a few cheques and pay a couple bills. I finally got help from a teller 20 minutes later and it took them over 15 minutes to process everything (5 min job at other branches). I am a patient person and not once complained about the long wait times. The manager had the audacity to tell me to come 1 hour before close next time, so that her staff can go home earlier. Why not have more staff working the tellers during business hours instead of letting them wait around to leave. There won't be a next time.. Save your time and get better service at any other branch.

I cannot believe the unprofessionalism displayed by the management at this branch. My 82 year old mother has been banking here for many years. Her situation is not complex but she does have an American and Canadian account. The bank made a mistake and when she went to remedy the situation, they made her wait in the lobby over an hour even though she had an appointment. This caused a huge inconvenience and when they refused to correct their mistake, the manager called my mother “senile”. I am sparing a lot of the details but I have NEVER heard of a business treating their customers this way!

Despite a prior lunchtime incident which caused confusion at the teller queue, my second & third visits were a lot smoother. TD’s Online appointment system is convenient for those pressed for time. The staff were courteous and responsive via email for customer follow-up needs.

John Costa was an excellent representative. I went there to open a new account. I forgot my documents but he patiently allowed me to go home and get them on a Friday evening.He went above and beyond to inform me of all the best offers and was very honest. Definitely recommend

This is the worst TD bank I've ever gone to. I went to this location seeking help and the staff and management did not help me with a single issue. The manager M. Cole was rude and condescending, cutting me off and repeating the same things when I already understood the first issue and wanted to explain the next thing I needed help with. I actually ended up going to a different TD location that was much more understanding and helpful and I was able to solve all my issues. The 1 star reviews here are all true. I'm honestly so shocked, I have never been treated so poorly by a TD bank employee in the many years my family and I have been with them.
