I am posting this review with deep anger, disappointment, and a strong sense of personal humiliation following my experience at this bank branch located in Egypt Mall. Before visiting this branch, I carefully and thoroughly reviewed the bank’s official website. The information provided there was clear, professional, and gave the impression that the bank operates according to transparent, customer-oriented, and internationally accepted standards. Based on this information, I reasonably expected a professional and respectful banking experience. What I encountered at the Egypt Mall branch was the complete opposite. The procedures, requirements, and attitude of the staff bore no resemblance whatsoever to the information published on the bank’s website. A complete lack of professionalism and customer service. Unfortunately, I’ve had to deal with this branch because it’s one of the few that stays open late, but after my last two experiences, I’ll never go back. I’ve never seen this level of unprofessionalism or disregard for customers at any other CIB branch. The staff’s attitude is cold and dismissive—as if they’re doing you a personal favor rather than doing their jobs. From the branch manager to the customer service supervisor, the behavior was condescending and unhelpful. Those who have personal connections seem to get their requests processed instantly, while the rest of us are left waiting, completely ignored. I recently visited CIB Bank to open a savings account, and what started as a routine errand turned into an unexpectedly hilarious and memorable experience. As I approached the counter, I noticed a staff member trying to fix the ribbon on one of their balloons for a promotional campaign. Suddenly, the balloon popped with a loud bang! Everyone in the branch turned to look, and there was a moment of silence—before a customer nearby joked, "I hope that wasn’t someone’s loan approval being rejected!" The whole room burst into laughter, including the staff. The vibe instantly became light-hearted, and even the teller helping me joined in by saying, "At least your savings account will be less explosive!" The humor didn’t stop there.
