We are affiliated with BXL for our insurance.
When our suitcases did not arrive during our (flying) holiday, I immediately contacted René to inquire about our options. René contacted us almost immediately and explained the possibilities. With this in mind, we purchased a few items.
Two days later, René messaged us again to ask if our suitcases had been found and if he could still do anything for us. Now that is what I call TOP service!
René provided excellent advice and support on all mortgage and insurance matters. He's easy to reach and always took the time to discuss our questions in detail. We're very happy with our choice of DBA!
We are very satisfied with BXL and René Baars as our mortgage advisor. They are easy to reach, there's plenty of room for questions, he explains everything clearly, and most importantly, he thinks along with you.
Incredibly friendly and helpful in arranging a mortgage and everything that entails. They take their time, think along with you, and are transparent about the costs. Nothing but praise for this company!
Very knowledgeable and customer-friendly
Worthless, not even open on Saturdays and the rest of the week only open until 5pm, crappy opening hours, really, wow.
This company has become incredibly customer-unfriendly in just a few years. I reported water damage on February 14th and was told I'd receive a call back. Three days later, I called again. A slightly irritated woman told me I had the wrong department, but she would pass it on. After almost a week, I emailed the branch manager, and lo and behold, three days later, I hadn't heard anything. I called again, but unfortunately, no one was there in that department. "Why on earth do you still use an insurance broker?" Well, when you get older and don't know the ropes, you expect things to be handled properly. NO WAY!
I went to Deur Makelaardij to ask if they had any rental properties and to look around. When I entered, the employee immediately acted suspicious. Then I left to do some grocery shopping at the Albert Heijn, 500 meters away. Once I arrived at the Albert Heijn, I went to pay at the cash register. After paying, I wanted to pack my groceries, but the same Deur Makelaardij employee was standing right in front of me. I tried to get past him, but he blocked my path. He asked who I was and where I was from. This was very strange. Apparently, the man (Theo Deur) found it strange that he had never seen me in his area before. I wasn't allowed to go through and finish packing my groceries until I told him where I was from (Leersum). Very strange and suspicious people. I hope they don't follow potential clients next time. Certainly not me, because I will never, ever buy a house from Deur Makelaardij.
Online, it says the bank is open on Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. So there I was, standing in front of a closed door. I called SNS. "Apologies for this, and we're working on making changes to the website." How hard can this be?! Meanwhile, I'm now reading a review that says the SNS website hasn't been updated in three months! What terrible service!!
SNS has since addressed this complaint and handled it properly. Very helpful.
Closed on Saturday but couldn't find anything about it online, drove an extra mile for nothing
