We were looking for the best home loan. As a KBC client, we compared various banks, including BNP Pelt. During our initial phone call, I was warmly greeted by Laurens. He seemed spontaneous and asked relevant questions to get a general idea. He then arranged everything internally for an online meeting with a colleague. This online meeting went smoothly, apart from the technical issues. His colleague, Erwin, helped us throughout the conversation. Hats off to him; he's a top performer who listens and empathizes with the situation. He also contributes ideas and makes suggestions, which we really appreciated. I've been trying to call, email, etc. since yesterday, but it's impossible to get in touch. My email is read (in which I ask for a call back), but nothing happens.
So I have to go through a whole menu and keep hearing "You'll be helped shortly." No way.
And they tell me I just have to sign to unblock a rental deposit account.
My bank (Argenta) is much more customer-friendly, after all.
Following a phone call I received from your company today, I was particularly surprised by the attitude of the woman I spoke to. Her tone was unpleasant, curt, and authoritarian. She asked me for a document I didn't have with me, even though I had clearly indicated that I would provide it at the scheduled appointment to open the account. Despite this, she insisted on immediately checking if the document was active, even though I had confirmed that it was.
Honestly, this kind of first contact does absolutely nothing to inspire me to become a client of yours. This type of reception is truly something to avoid.
I'm a Fortis customer, but at a different branch. Nevertheless, if the staff could avoid gathering in front of the branch to smoke or vape... I drive past every day during rush hour on my way home, and I see them almost daily... what a sight. It's like being outside a café.
I received a call 45 minutes before my appointment informing me that it had been cancelled. I couldn't answer the call and therefore called back three times, five minutes later, without receiving any response.
Upon arriving at the agency, I was told that my appointment would not take place, and Mr. Ilyes became agitated, aggressive, and irritated, raising his voice when I asked for an explanation and expressed my dissatisfaction with the service.
They don't honor phone appointments; we were supposed to be called about a loan.
Both accounts are located here, and we've been customers for years. If this is how they treat their regular customers, hats off! We'll definitely transfer our account to another bank!
